Statement from Rebuild by Design on Gov Cuomo’s Restore Mother Nature Bond Act

“With ninety percent of New York State’s population residing in waterfront communities, communities from Niagara County to Staten Island are already experiencing the social and physical disruptions that flooding leaves behind. We support Governor Cuomo’s proposal for a Bond Act to build resilient infrastructure that will reduce flooding, create jobs, enhance ecology, and save New York money over time.

We look forward to continuing to work with the Governor’s office on this proposal, and with the legislature, to ensure a transparent and equitable process to create and fund infrastructure that will prepare our communities for the future.”
