The Institute for Public Knowledge released a special edition of its journal Public Culture on “Climate Change and the Future of Cities: Migration, Adaptation, and Social Change on an Urban Planet.” As part of the Rebuild By Design process, the researcher Daniel Aldana Cohen interviewed several members of the working group on the challenges and opportunities that cities increasingly face in a warming world, with a focus on revealing common points of interest, shared understandings, and divergent opinions. Read the full interview here.
Members of Rebuild by Design’s international working group that were interviewed include Henk Ovink, Eric Klinenberg, Mindy Fullilove, Edgar Pieterse, Fernando de Mello Franco, and Maarten Hajer. This exciting collection represents the culmination of years of international research and collaboration on the impacts of climate change in cities.
We are celebrating its release with a panel discussion. Click here for more information and to RSVP.
