ELEMENTS OF EFFECTIVE ENGAGEMENT

As Rebuild by Design projects are implemented, how would you like to engage with the process?

Join us to identify the best practices and approaches to government-community engagement as the Rebuild by Design projects begin implementation.

State and City agencies are currently developing action plans for HUD to describe their approach to implementing the Rebuild by Design projects. Help them design the best possible strategy for involving community perspectives.

The event will include:

– A panel presenting successful cases of community and government collaboration;

– A moderated conversation for attendees to suggest successful elements for engagement and collaboration.

The intent of the event is to ensure that the projects can continue to reflect the shared goals of Rebuild by Design and community stakeholders as they get further defined and implemented.

Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you on the 19th.

This event is co-sponsored by the Municipal Art Society of New York and, Pratt Institute’s Programs for Sustainable Planning and Development and its Recover, Adapt, Mitigate and Plan initiative.
