HUDSON RIVER PROJECT, UPDATES AND UPCOMING PUBLIC MEETINGS

Visit New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection website to read the Hudson River Project Scoping Document. Join fellow community members at upcoming Community Advisory Group (CAG) meetings for project updates and an opportunity to provide feedback on each of the five concepts.

Concept Screening Workshop: featuring a presentation by New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP). This meeting is a follow up to the CAG meeting in an effort to further familiarize members with the five concepts for the project. December 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM – Multi Service Center, 124 Grand Street, Hoboken

Concept Screening Public Meeting: provide input on the proposed concepts for the Rebuild by Design Hudson River Project. Learn how the proposed concepts are evaluated based on the purpose and need, benefits to the community, and potential impacts to the environment. This meeting will feature a presentation on each of the concepts and an opportunity for members of the community to provide feedback. Your input is imperative for next steps toward implementation. We recommend reviewing the five concepts in advance of this meeting to best prepare. Help NJ DEP narrow the list of five concepts down to three. December 10, 2015 at 6:00 PM – Wallace Elementary School Gym, 1100 Willow Ave, Hoboken

Drop In Session: All members of the community are invited to TWO drop-in sessions to further discuss the five concepts and overall implementation process.All members of community are invited to join New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP), Dewberry, and OMA for the following Drop In Sessions to review the 5 concepts for the Hudson River Project. (1) December 15, 2015 at 6:30 PM – St. Lawrence Church Community Room, 22 Hackensack Ave., Weehawken; (2) December 17 at 6:30 PM – Hoboken Housing Authority Senior Building, 221 Jackson St., Hoboken
