Please join the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery on Monday, August 22, for the second Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting for Long Island’s
Rebuild by Design project: Living with the Bay. In addition to receiving project updates, a highlight of the meeting with be the announcement of the entities that have been selected to move forward with the social resilience dimension of the project. This will include educational components, job training and continuing education opportunities that tie to the project.

CAC members will also hear about other Federal disaster recovery projects that are taking place within the watershed. The team will guide attendees through an interactive exercise which will advance the project’s outreach and citizen engagement strategies. Learn more >>
