HUDSON RIVER PROJECT, PUBLIC MEETING

December 10, 2015

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Wallace Elementary School Gym
1100 Willow Ave
Hoboken, NJ
United States

All members of the community are invited to join the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Dewberry, and OMA for a Concept Screening Public Meeting to provide input into the proposed concepts for the Rebuild by Design Hudson River: Resist, Delay, Store, Discharge Project. The Project is a comprehensive urban water strategy whose overall purpose is to reduce flood hazard risks, flood-related public health risks, and which seeks to leverage resiliency investment to enhance the urban condition.

This meeting will feature a presentation on each of the concepts and an opportunity for members of the community to provide feedback. Come learn about how the proposed concepts were evaluated based on the purpose and need, benefits to the community, and potential impacts to the environment. Share your input and get an update on the project.

Your input is imperative for next steps toward implementation. We recommend reviewing the five concepts in advance of this meeting to best prepare. Help NJ DEP narrow the list of five concepts down to three. Learn more »
